

Take Flight Virtual Retraining for CALTs
This is a six-day, virtual training for individuals who are Certified Academic Language Therapists with active membership in Academic Language Therapy Association. This training course uses Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia (Take Flight) developed by Scottish Rite for Children. Participants will learn the Take Flight curriculum, from Books 1 through 7, including:

Phonemic Awareness

New Learning/Application

Fluency
-
Comprehension

Spelling
-
Handwriting

Participants need to purchase and have available
Take Flight Kit 1 before the December training dates
and Take Flight Kit 2 before the February training dates.
The training fee is $600 per person for the 6-day workshop. Cost of materials is NOT included in the training fee. 36 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit has been requested for approval by ALTA.
